Our Founder was the second of three children of the marriage of Enrique Austin Lecock, Cuban and Ruby Elena Ward, Panamanian. Mr. Enrique was an Accountant but also an Insurance Salesman in the area of ​​the Canal Zone in the 1950s. Our director and founder studied his elementary and high school at the prestigious San Agustín School in the capital of Panama and after that he started studies of industrial engineering at the Technological University of Panama. His mother, who dedicated a good part of his life to education, died in 1995, which was an important event in the life of our Founder, who in 1993 had shown interest in being an insurance broker within the American Life Insurance company. Company of Panama. That fact leads him later to formally join the insurance industry as Life Insurance Advisor on August 26, 1996 in what was the Candanedo and Latorre brokerage firm. The achievements do not happen overnight. Inversiones Austin was born and started operations in a room of a house until several years later, with determination, heart and focus, it was able to open its first office in the area of ​​El Carmen, Panama City, from where it operated not only the insurance business but also a business of intermediation and transportation of land freight, real estate and service of personnel recruitment through the companies SION, INC. and WARD & COMPANY, S.A. Today, 23 years later, the company has become a hub for financial intermediation services with a renewed image and offer of services designed to satisfy a demand from customers who are looking for something more.
